About Us

Marie Janet Hart was the Founding President of the Far North Coast Family History Group  forerunner of The Richmond-Tweed Family Society which  began on 17 December 1983 with an initial gathering of five people at the home of Marie Hart. The group has grown and expanded over the years and continues to bring support, joy and friendships to our members.

Marie Hart passed away on 17 March 2023 in our 40th Anniversary year. Here is a Tribute to her published in the Cedar Log December 2023, her First Report as President, the Eulogy given at her funeral and Memories of Marie from some of our members.
